Our Story

More than a century has passed since that small group first gathered together in faith, but the spirit that brought them together is still at the heart of Zion today.

Our mission is simple:

Open Doors, Open Hearts, Open Hands

Open Doors — We welcome all who enter, whether you have been part of Zion your entire life or are walking through our doors for the very first time.

Open Hearts — We seek to share the love of Christ with one another, our neighbors, and our community, meeting people with compassion, grace, and acceptance.

Open Hands — Our faith calls us to serve. We put that faith into action by caring for one another, supporting our community, and reaching out to those in need.

The people who founded Zion understood that a church is more than a building. It is people coming together in faith, supporting one another, worshiping God, and serving their neighbors.

That was true when a handful of believers gathered in their homes in 1898, and it remains true today.

Open Doors. Open Hearts. Open Hands.

This is who we strive to be. And as we honor the generations who built Zion before us, we look forward with faith to the generations still to come.

Our story is still being written—and there is a place for you in it.
